Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti 


As we all know, his full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who was born on 2nd October, 1869, at Porbandar, Gujarat. He was an Indian lawyer. After having completed, Bachelor of Laws, he was practicing  law in South Africa. But he decided to come back to India, his motherland, that was in need of strong will power, support and leadership of many such figures like him to fight against the British rule. His role as an anti-colonial nationalist, and political leader, who employed non-violent resistance, to lead the successful campaign for India's independence from British Rule. and inspire movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.

  ଜାତିର ପିତା , ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଯେତେ କହିଲେ ବି  କଥା ସରିବନାହି | ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରକୃତ ନାମ ଥିଲା, ମୋହନଦାସ କରମଚାନ୍ଦ ଗାନ୍ଧୀ; ଗୁଜରାତର ପୋରବନ୍ଦର ଠାରେ, 1869 ମସିହା, ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ମାସ ୨ ତାରିଖରେ, ସେ ଜନ୍ମଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ ଓ ୧୯୪୮ ମସିହା ଜାନୁୟାରୀ ମାସ ୩୦ ତାରିଖରେ, ସେ ଶେଷ ନିଶ୍ଵାସ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଥିଲେ | ଭାରତ ସ୍ଵାଧୀନ ନିମନ୍ତେ, ଜଣେ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଓ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ନେତା ରୂପେ, ଅହିଂସା ଓ ସତ୍ୟାଗ୍ରହ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନରେ ଦୃଢ ବିଶ୍ଵାସ କରି, ଦେଶକୁ ସ୍ଵାଧୀନ କରାଇବାରେ ସଫଳ ହୋଇଥିଲେ | ଏଣୁକରି  ସେ ବାପୁଜୀ ଓ ଦେଶର ଜଣକ ଭାବରେ ପରିଗଣିତ ଅଟନ୍ତି | ପ୍ରଚାରିତ ଆଦର୍ଶମାନ ନିଜେ ଅକ୍ଷରେ ଅକ୍ଷରେ ପାଳନ କରି, ଅତି ଦିନ ଭାବରେ ଜୀବନ ଯାପନ କରି, ସତ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତି ନିଷ୍ଠାର ସହିତ, ସାଂସାରିକ ସ୍ଵାର୍ଥ ତ୍ୟାଗର ଜ୍ଵଳନ୍ତ ଉଦାହରଣ ଦେଖାଇ, ସମଗ୍ର ଜଗତରେ ପୂଜ୍ୟ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି | 

 ତାଙ୍କର ଏହି ଜନ୍ମତିଥିରେ, ତାଙ୍କର ଆଦର୍ଶଦ୍ଵାରା ଅନୁପ୍ରାଣିତ ହୋଇ  ଆଜିର ଏ ଯୁବ ପିଢୀକୁ ସତମାର୍ଗରେ ଚାଲିବାପାଇଁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରୁଛି | 
ଦୟାକରି, ଆପଣମାନେ ଏହାକୁ ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକ share କରିବେ |

                   KARTIK PURNIMA According to Hindu calendar, it falls around one month after Sharad Purnima or (Kumar Purnima as itwell known in Odisha) and almost fifteen days after Deepavali. It is the fifteenth day of the bright fortnight of the Kartik month. Kartik Purnima is a festival celebrated in different ways/styles/beliefs by the Hindus, Sikhs and Jains.
