National Doctors' Day, July 1

Doctors Day, July 1

National Doctors' Day in India is celebrated on July, in honour of the birth and death anniversary of the great physician Dr. bidhan Chandra Roy.
This day serves to show gratitude to all those who have selflessly aided us in our time of need and tirelessly worked for the health of their patients by commemorating the greatest representative of these ideals.

Doctor’s Day was established by the Government of India in 1991 to be recognised and celebrated on July 1 every year in India. Doctor’s Day is observed on different dates across the world. In the United States, the day is observed on March 30, in Cuba on December 3 and in Iran on August 23.
Each year National Doctor’s day is organised with a theme, last year’s being, “Zero tolerance to violence against doctors and clinical establishment”. This year’s theme is yet to be announced but we can assume it will be regarding the pandemic that we are undergoing. However, we must acknowledge and express our sincere gratitude to all the health care professionals for their tremendous work and sacrifices in this period of crisis.

So, let's encourage our doctors by giving them more importance and honour on this occasion.  Feel free to download the images and share with your doctors.
Happy Doctors Day, in advance!

71st Republic Day, India ଭାରତୀୟ ଗଣତନ୍ତ୍ର ଦିବସ

71st Republic Day  As we know, India became free from British rule on 15th August, 1947. But its constitution came into effect from 26th January 1950.  It clearly declared India as a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic (as strictly against monarchy or dictatorship of any single person/ king/ dictator). After all, it's rule of the people,  by the people and for the people.  Hence, every year ,26th January is celebrated as the Republic Day of India, whereas Independence Day is celebrated on 15th August.  On Republic Day, flag hoisting ceremonies and parades by armed forces and school children are held in different parts of the country.  However,  the grand parade is held at Rajpath, New Delhi,  which showcases the country's rich cultural heritage and military prowess. This parade is presided over by the President of India, whereas, on the occ...

Happy Independence Day

INDEPENDENCE DAY  We should feel proud for our motherland India.  Needless to say that August 15 is celebrated as the Independence Day in Inia. Because it became independent on the 15th of August 1947. Many people fought for the freedom of our nation under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi.  Let's acknowledge the efforts and sacrifices of all our freedom fighters in making India free from the British rule. May all be at peace for ever. A very happy Independence Day!
