HOLI Holi is a festival of colors which is celebrated every year by the Hindus across the world. It is a spring festival. People from all walks of life, all age groups have been eagerly looking forward to this festival "HOLI". It is an Indian festival having significance of good over evil. It is celebrated on the Poornima (the full moon day ) which falls in the month of "Phalgun", according to the Hindu calendar. It generally falls between the end of february and the middle of March. People gather together with family and friends and smudge each other with powder color or colored water. They share sweets.
