71st Republic Day, India ଭାରତୀୟ ଗଣତନ୍ତ୍ର ଦିବସ

                  71st Republic Day  As we know, India became free from British rule on 15th August, 1947. But its constitution came into effect from 26th January 1950.  It clearly declared India as a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic (as strictly against monarchy or dictatorship of any single person/ king/ dictator). After all, it's rule of the people,  by the people and for the people.  Hence, every year ,26th January is celebrated as the Republic Day of India, whereas Independence Day is celebrated on 15th August.  On Republic Day, flag hoisting ceremonies and parades by armed forces and school children are held in different parts of the country.  However,  the grand parade is held at Rajpath, New Delhi,  which showcases the country's rich cultural heritage and military prowess.
